Wednesday Night Networking – Restaurant Romp
This is the night for Restaurant Romp! Restaurants are being chosen within walking distance of the hotel. A sign-up will go out to all registrants in May. We’ll meet first in the hotel for a drink and to find your restaurant group, then walk with your group to the restaurant you signed up for. Everyone pays for their own dinner and everyone has a great time.
TAMI Awards Dinner
The TAMI Awards will be presented at a dinner on Thursday, June 9, and is included in the conference registration. You will be emailed a few weeks in advance to R.S.V.P. for the Awards Dinner. Your R.S.V.P. is required to be guaranteed a seat at the Awards Dinner. Additional tickets for guests to attend the dinner may be purchased for $60 each. Tickets must be purchased by Tuesday, May 31. No tickets will be sold at the conference.
IMPORTANT UPDATE! The Four Seasons is sold out.
We have signed a contract with the Westin Houston Medical Center for overflow rooms. The hotel is only four miles away and you don’t have to drive on the freeway to get to the Four Seasons. You may not be at the Four Seasons but you will get to enjoy the Westin’s signature “heavenly bed” and “heavenly bath.” Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. If you arrive early, the hotel will check you in if the your room is ready. Please plan to leave your suitcase with the hotel if your room is not available. Check-out time is noon; the conference is over at 11:00 a.m.
The room rate is $170 and the overnight valet parking is $24. The hotel is also going to use their courtesy van to take you to the Four Seasons once in the morning and bring you back to the Westin once in the evening. More information about this will be emailed to you a week before the conference. If you miss the courtesy shuttle or prefer to go/leave at other times, it is a short Uber ride.
