Register by 5 p.m. on Friday, August 6, and receive the discounted, early registration fee of $370.
For registrations received by TML after 5 p.m. on August 6, the registration fee is $390.
We have 15 spots open for your students/interns to register for the conference at a reduced rate. A person does not qualify for the student/intern rate if they are employed full time in the industry. The fee is $285 until Friday, August 6. After August 6, the registration fee is $305. (All prices are based on availability.)
The registration fee is $445.
The registration fee includes:
- All sessions from Monday through Wednesday, not including the preconference session.
- Afternoon break on Monday
- Breakfast, lunch, refreshment breaks and TAMI Awards Banquet on Tuesday
- Breakfast on Wednesday
Monday Preconference Session – Smartphone Video Lab: How to Create Compelling Recorded and Live Video Content
Seating is limited seating for this session which will start Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. A hands-on, interactive session, that will cover ways to quickly create compelling video content for your social media platforms. This includes how to shoot great looking video, basic editing techniques, and how to do effective livestreams on Facebook Live, Twitter, and Instagram. There is an additional fee of $35 to attend.
Monday Night Networking – Restaurant Romp
This is the night for Restaurant Romp! Kalahari has many restaurants and you will be able to sign up for the type of food you want closer to the start of the conference. The best thing is no one has to get on a bus and leave the resort.
TAMI Awards Dinner
The TAMI Awards will be presented at a dinner on Tuesday, August 31, and is included in the conference registration. You will be emailed a few weeks in advance to R.S.V.P. for the Awards Dinner. Your R.S.V.P. is required to be guaranteed a seat at the Awards Dinner. Additional tickets for guests to attend the dinner may be purchased for $60 each. Tickets must be purchased by Friday, August 13. No tickets will be sold at the conference.
The conference will be held at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center, 3001 Kalahari Blvd., in Round Rock. The sleeping room rate is $185 per night (single, double, triple or quad occupancy). Rooms can be booked up to three days pre-conference at the conference rate, based on availability. Come early and bring the family! The resort fee has been reduced for TAMIO Annual Conference attendees to from $39.95 to $10. The resort fee is good for up to four people in a hotel room reservation and will give you access to the resort’s indoor water park, pool, and fitness center. Spa Kalahari and Tom Foolery’s Adventure Park are not included, but you can make pay and make reservations on-line (look for “Things to Do” when booking your overnight stay) or go to the Tom Foolery Information Desk to purchase packages.
If your stay is being paid for or reimbursed by an organization that is tax-exempt, please send a completed Texas state tax exempt form to the hotel at firstname.lastname@example.org or by fax to 608-254-6116 with your confirmation number and contact information. Taxes will be charged until the form is received and approved. In order to expedite your check-in, the form must be received three (3) days prior to arrival. Please note that attaching this add-on does not guarantee the form will be approved.
TAMIO’s Conference Mobile App
The conference mobile app will have the complete schedule, session descriptions, speaker bios, attendees and more. An eblast will be sent out approximately two weeks prior to the conference with your link.
The Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is approximately 32 miles from the hotel.
If you are registered and cannot attend, we encourage you to send a substitute. If you cannot send a substitute, a $45 cancellation fee will be assessed if written cancellation is emailed to email@example.com by Friday, August 20. No refunds will be honored after that date.
Conference badges will be mailed to you after August 6. If you do not receive yours in the mail, we will provide you with a badge onsite at registration.
